DM5010 – Equipment for mechanical weeding

The new DM 5010 for inter-row mechanical weeding, is equipped with a rotor with long nylon wires capable of mechanically eliminating weeds within the range of action, without damaging the plant stems. DM 5010 in combination with the mulcher, ensures the performance of two operations: maintenance and grass chopping in the row and under-row with a single pass. This results in significant savings in tractor costs and labour times. It can be mounted on BV series 100 shredders; and it is suitable for working in vineyards, orchards, olive groves and agri-voltaic fields. It can be used on soils of any consistency even in the presence of stones. The use of DM5010 allows you to avoid using herbicides and other chemicals for the entire year. The innovative locking-unlocking system and the open rotor make extending and recharging the wires extremely easy. Furthermore, the retractable rotor shaft system allows a great working autonomy. It can be used directly connected to the tractor via quick couplings or with an independent hydraulic system.
