Innovative aspects and features relevant to Mediterranean agriculture: the machine is designed to maximize the production of medium- and large-scale horticultural crops. It can use BIO film with a thickness of less than 10 microns. The machine is equipped with a brakeless stretching system, in which the unrolling speed is regulated directly by the support wheels, a lateral compaction system to tie down the plastic layer even on light soils and in windy conditions, and an electronic control for spreading and cutting the hose and cutting and earthing the mulch film.
